Paper (substrates)

We print on a huge range of papers, card, plastics and synthetics (“substrates”). The printing process and a particular substrate go together like a “hand in glove.”

Our Indigos print on SRA3 sheets and the maximum printable area on most types of paper is 447 x 307mm.

If you would like to know more about the papers we print on, please call us and ask for a copy of our Substrate Guide.

Like all digital printing platforms, the Indigos print in CMYK inks. But the very special thing about Indigo printing is the ability to print “special” colours.

We can mix colours for you and print your job with them. This means you can print in most PMS colours or your corporate colour and get an exact match every time.

We can play with the density of inks, “double hit” an ink or vary the amount of ink in each colour to get exactly what you are looking for.

One of the best things about digital print is that each sheet can be one of a kind. It can be addressed to a single person and populated with information specific to that person.

At Kinetic Digital we specialise in personalised print and can work with you to get the very best out of your one-to-one communication.

  • That may be some ideas on layout or fonts
  • Some advice on the best finishing options
  • Substrate alternatives to enhance your job
  • Collation or streaming of the job to save time and money
